What are the recommended system requirements to install MyCAD?
The system requirements for installing MyCAD are as follows. (minimum/recommended)
-. CPU: Intel Celoron, AMD Athlon or higher / Intel I5, AMD Ryzen 5 or higher recommended
-. RAM: 1GB or more / 8GB or more recommended
-. SDD/HDD: 1GB or more of free space / 10GB or more of free space recommended
-. OS: Windows XP or higher / Windows 7 or higher recommended
License error problem of MyCAD program downloaded from website
After entering the password and installing, you can use it by clicking Cancel when the License finder window appears.
If it does not work, right-click a program such as LayEdPro.exe, select “Compatibility” from the menu that appears, check “Compatibility mode to run this program in”, select “Windows 7”, and click OK.
For Evaluation (Demo), you can use it for 14 days after installation, and after the period, the program works only if you have a license.
Even if you reinstall the program or change the system time of your PC, you cannot use the program. Please take note of this.
I downloaded and installed it to use it for free for two weeks, but a window to find a license appears?
If you click the "Cancel" button in the license finder window to search for a license, you can use it for free for 2 weeks (14 days) without a license from the first run date. [However, there must be no record of installing any MyCAD product (including lower versions) on the PC.]
* Caution: It is prohibited to change the system time, use it for 14 days and then reinstall it and use it, and there are restrictions on the function.
What is a TEC file?
The TEC file is an important file that contains the basic environment for using MyChip Station Pro.
As a technology file, it has settings such as Layer, Color, and Stipple to use LayEd.
A rule file that can be verified can also be specified.
How should I use the Punch function in operation?
MyChip Station Pro 2017 recognizes all shapes of polygons (circle, rectangle, polygon, etc.) as an area. To create a polygon with a hole in the middle of an object, first open the Option->Preferences window from the Menu bar and check “Allow Hole” of Boolean Operation in Edit.

1. Punch function
Select the base polygon, hold down the Shift key, select the polygon you want to subtract, and execute Punch.
2. Subtract function
After drawing the base polygon and the polygon you want to subtract, select the two polygons and execute Subtract.
cf> To create a polygon with an “Invalid Polygon is not allowed” error message, open the Option->Preferences window in the Menu bar and check “Allow Invalid Polygon” of Editing in Edit.
How to fix Sentinel HASP key not found (H0007) error when using MyCAD Trial
In the HASP folder of the Bin folder of the folder where MyCAD is installed (ex: C:\MyCADPro_TE\Bin\HASP )
Double-click driver_install_14days.bat to install the HASP driver, and “Operation successfully completed” is displayed on the screen.
